Payment intelligence, automated

Classifi imports bill payments, check payments, and purchase transactions from QuickBooks and maps each one to a worker record. Every payment updates the worker's running total, documentation status, and compliance signals — so your outside payroll exposure is always current, not reconstructed at year-end.

Threshold Watch

After every sync, Classifi recalculates each worker's year-to-date payment total and compares it against the 1099-NEC filing threshold. When a worker approaches or crosses the threshold, Classifi triggers a Threshold Watch alert — so you can request a W-9 and collect documentation before the deadline, not after.

Vendor-to-worker matching

Classifi compares your QuickBooks vendor directory against your worker records using EIN, legal name, email, and company name. Exact matches link automatically. Partial matches and unmatched vendors are flagged for your review — so mismatches surface as a compliance task, not an audit finding.

Classifi never writes transactions, invoices, or financial records to your QuickBooks account.

Classifi requests read and write access to your QuickBooks accounting data (com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting). Write access is used only for exporting worker records as vendors.

    Create your Classifi account

    Sign up at classifi.co — free tier available.

    Go to Settings → Integrations

    Find the QuickBooks Online section in your workspace settings.

    Click “Connect to QuickBooks”

    You’ll be redirected to Intuit to authorize the connection.

    Authorize access

    Sign in with your Intuit account and approve Classifi’s access to your QuickBooks data.

    Run your first sync

    Click “Sync now” to import your payment history and activate Threshold Watch across every worker.
