Classifi, Inc. (“Classifi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information in connection with our website classifi.co (the “Site”), our compliance software, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services.

  • Account & Contact Information: Name, email, password, company name, state, and industry when you create an account.
  • Contractor & Business Data: W-9s, COIs, invoices, attestations, and similar compliance documents you or your contractors upload.
  • Financial Connection Data: If you connect QuickBooks Online, Xero, or other accounting platforms, we may receive vendor names, disbursement records, and other transaction details as authorized by you.
  • Third-Party API Data: If you choose to connect financial institutions via Plaid, we never see your credentials. You grant Plaid permission to access account data, which is then shared with us under their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, browser type, OS, and log data when interacting with our Site or Services.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve the Services, including:

  • Delivering compliance tools and dashboards.
  • Processing disbursement reviews and audit simulations.
  • Sending administrative emails, reminders, and support responses.
  • Improving security, troubleshooting, and analytics.
  • Meeting legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

3. How We Share Information

  • With Service Providers: Cloud hosting, storage, and communication providers under confidentiality agreements.
  • With Accounting Platforms: If you connect QuickBooks, Xero, or other APIs, we may exchange data as authorized by you.
  • With Plaid: If you enable Plaid connections, data is transmitted securely and subject to Plaid’s terms.
  • For Legal Compliance: To comply with subpoenas, audits, or other lawful requests.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. While no system is perfectly secure, we continuously monitor and update our defenses to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

Classifi is based in the United States. By using our Services, you consent to data transfers to the U.S. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
